Lazy and sick

So I've been either too lazy or too sick to post for the last few weeks. Between Christmas holidays and starting back at school, it just hasn't happened. So here's some updates:

Had my computer overhauled by my wonderful brother (thanks Mashy!) and now have been busy reloading all my programs and software. Dial up takes forever to download stuff. 12 hours for Norton!! :( Downside, my scanner is still boycotting me. This royally sucks because I need it to load my design team stuff.

I'm getting a bit behind in my braille course for a few reasons. I was sick and so didn't feel like it. I'm still waiting on the manual, got to remember to reorder that. Plus I have to download some software to finish lessons 6-27. This takes us back to the dial up saga.

Starting the new year has proven to be quite booked up already. February is so not an option anymore. Between teaching a mini book class and getting to go to a very cool scrapbooking manufactoring convention for two day (I get to meet Becky Higgins!!!) and a few board meetings thrown in...I'm swamped.

Starting a digital camera course here in LLB, has homework and everything. Really looking forward to that. Plus I'm starting an exercise class called "butts and guts". *GOT* to get moving again. Need to firm up some of this flab ;)

Can't believe its 2007 already. It seems that the older I get the faster time goes. Good grief I'm going to be 30 this year. Yes, 30. For the first time. I told Ron that he better have something good planned ;)

Also can't get over how old my kids are, Ethan is going to be 9 and in Grade 4. When that happened I have no idea. My little baby will be 5 and in kindergarten. Just crazy. It seems just like yesterday that Ron and I started dating and poof! 9 years later here we are, 2 kids and a mortgage. Life is funny. I always envisioned myself living in a city in a cool loft apartment working in some office, maybe married by now but never expecting kids and life on an acreage. But you know I love it. Would not trade my life for anything.

On that thought, I'm off to do some of my course.......maybe ;)
